Is it a must to have another software for HDR?

I wanted to learn how to create a HDR picture, but first, do i need a software for it? or can i jz do the job in PS alone?

I know there are people who use PS to generate HDR but I prefer Photomatix Pro to generate mine. It is easy to use.

so if want Photomatix Pro, mz buy the software or download ah...? not pro to software thingy...

btw, anyone mind sharing slightly on how to do it in PS...? maybe some simple tips...?

I used to generate HDR using the Photomatix Pro. Just like Zumi said it is easy to use... but now Im using Photoshop to generate Manual HDR(trying something different actually )... much more easy... hehe... but depends on what photo that I want to generate HDR

photomatix is a short cut way to create HDR, faster and easier. I saw a lot of HDR tat created from photoshop, it's great as well, but a lot more more you have to do with the tone mapping
