Such a sad story.

These are the shocking images from Burma of a Japanese journalists as he lay dying after soldiers opened fire on thousands of anti-government protesters.

Kenji Nagai held his camera above his head to continue taking photos even as a soldier pointed a gun at his chest.

The life of a photo journalist especially in war torn countries are so sad. To give the public great photos and great stories, they are willing to risk their life .

Rest In Peace Nagai san.

Pray that no other journalists suffer the same fate as the 9.

Heard over the radio earlier in the evening that Myanmar's shutting down internet connections to blackout publicity of what's happening there.

Then again, Reuter's Zainal Halim told us at a talk that they use their own special satellite communications equipment for uploading stuff to hq.

Wonder how many pj's still there

It's a tragedy. He just wanted the world to know the truth. He paid with his life!
