My Gear :

Wimberley Dual-arm macro brackets. Each arm is RM700. Lens plate and tripod QR clamp each rm 350. I bought one more set camera plate for my sp90 also. I spent almost 3k for this set up.

Pros : Superb lighting and 360 degree movable.
Cons : Pricey and bulky

DIY "Homemade" MT-24EX Twin Light Diffuser

I'd like to share my macro rig too... Current gear:

- Canon EOS 500D
- Canon Speedlite 580EX II
- Tamron SP AF90mm
- Kenko Teleplus Pro 300 Teleconverter 2x

Initially I was shooting macro with a "normal" diffuser as such:

First attempt to make a more useful diffuser:

Before the above diffuser went on a field test, an inspiration springs to mind after looking at OM's MT-24EX shot, alas, the "homemade" MT-24EX inspired diffuser is borned, hahahaha.....

More photos to follow...
