D90+on-camera flash+pocket wizards

Hi guys,
I thought some sifus here can guide me on something that I have been thinking on. I would like to cover an event, with an on camera flash+off camera flashes that are triggered with pocket wizards. Can it be done with this combo:
D90+SB900 (on-camera)+pwII to vivitar 285HV?

Thanks in advance.

As long as you can trigger it - why not?

Can do Michael Greenberg style. the flash is off-body, held by a monopod or whatever. flash is connected to body via cord.

that of course, mean you're literally 1 arm photographer cos the other arm is wielding the staff.

Hi Goldfries,
Thanks for the reply.. but I am having my doubt about this. Let me break it down.. the D90 with a hotshoe' ed SB900. Where would you place the PWII to trigger the manual flashes? I have checked the D90, doesn't seem to have any connectors where I can hook up the PWII. Thanks.
