Good try especially #2

my 2 cents worth:

If I were to do egg shots, I'd think 1st shot is under exposed, and you should emphasize whether to tell the story of egg white, yolk, pepper or soy sauce. There can only be 1 Chow Yun Fatt.

Shot #2 is nicely exposed but lack highlight. Highlight is what makes the food alive. Move to a sidelight source like near a windor/doorway to try to get highlights. That would also give shadows to your food which gives it a sense of depth and texture (in this case, the contours on the egg surface).

Food decor... for this angle of view, personally i'd prefer the yolk not to be blocked by the bowl so the overall presentation will have more colour.

For flat food (half boiled eggs) shots, a slightly off angle top shot might give the picture more colours, well that depends on your background also.

A porridge called Tom Brown (a light brown porridge made from roasted maize flour) is also eaten for breakfast. In contemporary times, a local meal called waakye (rice cooked in beans) is very common. People prefer to buy waakye from street vendors just as they do other small meals. There will also be a Chinese raffle of fun-filled themed baskets full of donated items from Lakewood businesses and supporters of H2O. Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit H2O Summer Service Camp and year-round H2O programming for middle and high school students.
