Kinda surprised Dave recommended ALO to be set at standard. It's better to disable it. Also, find out what are the native ISO for the camera for best noise performance e.g. for the 5D2, the native ISOs are 160, 320, 640, 1200, 1600. For those doing color grading in post, a good starting point for the picture style is neutral. Cheers!
