KL Pc fair Girls??? What girls??

Sort of a response or call it support (call it whatever you like)to the previous thread (from the events category) on the PC fair. Trying out for the first time the Flip-it Demp diffuser. Well here's my take!

The flash is very harsh.

Sharpening

Yup.....sharpened it thru PS...kinda over the top I guess. Flash was over too....need to flip the reflector on the diffuser much further back or play around with the flash output......anything else that needs to improve??? How about the composition? The pic was straight from camera...did not do any cropping. However, the girls face was full with blemishes...b4 I've tried to correct them thru PS.

this is event shooting/reporting...

so it really doesn't matter if the background/composition nice or not...

if u want focus on the model and make the model stand out in the picture, maybe you can use lower aperture setting (f/1.8 - f/2.8)

just my 2 cents.

Will do

Yeah...tried the pic off center but quite diffficult...with people passing thru and about....what I'll do is I'll PP'd it so that the background be blurred if can't get the 2.8 next time. Was playing around with the Flip it. Found that it was even harsher with 2.8. Guess I was not patient enuf to stay n experiment....girl was too hot.

Haiya mind reader

Only got the 17-50mm with me....i think that was the longer end of it. Haven't got the budget to buy me an 85mm or longer zoom. FYI newdaddy I didn't get her phone number......she gave me her email instead (willingly...mind you)....you mind reader you.
