looks interesting. and these are good. so do have confidence in your shot next time ya?
anyway, try converting it to black & white with some serious grain to bring up the chaotic mood.

Yeah... what noru said is correct... these are great series shown for handheld... and its pretty acceptable too when u are actually shooting in long exposure..

Instead of using tripod, here is something u can try as well... set camera to timer mode, leave it on the floor, public bench or even on top of dustbins if you don't mind that.... and the outcome is pretty good too...

I attached this pic here to show u my take at Burswood and I left my cam on top of the dustbin to get this shot.... my main subject was the holding couple in the picture.... can anyone spot them? LOL

Here is another one where I handheld....

try upping the shutter speed alil. if the shutter speed is too long, they'll look like ghosts and u dont really get the mess.

Your motion shots are not bad actually. U have the technical skill. Just that IMHO, I think the background and composition can be future improve to make more impacts to the photos.

For example, I guess u are trying to show busy city life. Maybe u can try looking for better background (that has more interesting subjects other than plain building and vehicle) to shoot. Or u can also include a signboard that shows location to tells that particular busy area is 'where'. Just like your third and forth pictures, the moment I look at it, I can tells that masjid jamik is a busy area. However the composition can be improved.

There are more than thousand ways of shooting interesting motion blur picture. Just shoot shoot shoot and shoot.
