The shopkeeper is my bro in law. But I'm sure for any small town kopitiam, if you know the hawkers/owners well enough, sure you can do the same thing. I did something similar in Bagan Lalang at the Malay stall selling seafood. The cooks were smiling very warmly and posing for me at their various post also, and it was the 1st time i saw them.
After all, who does not appreciate a photographer who genuinely appreciates them and their crafts of art first?

'our' daily life? You are Ipoh mari also? Hehe... really, trying to survive, let alone excel in KL is a totally different level of game compared to smaller towns.

Just like any other coffee, Ipoh White Coffee is characteristically distinctive.
Make sure you go have the real white coffee.

I just found this forum...Ipoh boy living in the US for over 30 years!

All the pics make me miss Old Town and all the food!
