It is so much harder to shoot great shots outside the magical hours but the resourceful kakis can come up with surprises so the slow shutter seems to do the scene justice.

Anytime when you are free
Me, I am always looking for nice place to explore.
I thot I have exhausted Penang coastline, then Lixin pops a few shots of Kampung Binjai.

This morning's quick visit with the Viper, Python & Anaconda warrants another trip with the LF, especially to catch a Jumbo landing

Next couple of weeks will be the busy time here in Penang, the streets in George Town will be a beehive of not stop action shooting.

1) Doing the Kek Lok Si nite shoot 29/01/2011 - 03/03/2011 probably after the 15th Day so the traffic jam is less intense I hope.
2) Chinese New Year Celebration 03/02/2011
3) Hokkien New Year Festival 10/02/2011 Chew Jetty 7pm-midnight
4) UNESCO Heritage 12/02/2011 3pm-12midnight
5) Maulidur Rasul (Prophet Muhammad's Birthday) 15/02/2011 8am-6pm

For those returning home a warm welcome back to Penang.

Wishing All a Happy & Successful Year ahead - Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit .....

i like the slow shutter creating a misty haze and smoothness in the tone of the colors. The sand slowly blended with the blue tone of the sea and going all the way to the horizon. Furthermore, the horizon is nicely highlighted with a darker blue line separating the sea and sky. The broken pillars were shot in an angle to emphasize the symmetricalness effect. Overall the misty haze, color tone and the symmetrical effect made the picture become very interesting to look at. The only drawback for me is distraction of the left hand size background.
