Washing soda

The hardest stuff to get is the washing soda. I managed some from Pharmacy/Sinsei in Kangar and these are images from my first roll.

Definite thumbs up for the 1st attempt, yes it took me awhile to get my hands on the washing soda in Penang too. (Rm3 perkilo here last year).

The quality of the scanned images are much better then my quick snaps via macro lens & pp.

Looks like there is potential in the caffenol image

What's the dev time ?
Water temp ?
What fixer ?
Did you use the VitC ?
What scanner used ?

I clamped the negative on two glass strips to flatten it, shoot them thru some transluscent lighting, I used 90mm macro lens, since I do not have a scanner

actually you can shoot the negative in jpeg (or RAW then to jpeg).

I used GIMP's INVERT option under Colors, to turn the negative to positive and thats it.

I haven't use PS but I am sure it can be done too.

I hope I answer your question
