Sigma 30mm F1.4 or Sigma 50mm F1.4

hi everyone, was thinking to buy the above mention lens but not sure which one is recommended.Can give some adv ? can both of this lens fits into 5D MkII if i upgrade body later ? Thanks

between the 2, i'd pick the 30mm.
> why? for a crop sensor camera, it's good to go bit wider

If you want 50mm, just go with Canon 50mm f/1.8
> one of the best and very cheap!

If u r looking for possible future upgrade to 5d mkII, forget these 2 lenses
> Canon hv better choices available - 28mm, 35mm etc

30mm or 50mm..

30mm f1.4 for a crop sensor is a good lense and it 's one of the lenses that stayed on my camera the whole time.

Border performance is soft but this is a specialised lense for lowlight portraiture work ..

From f2 and beyond it is sharp...

Here's below some shots from my camera....im using a pentax mount though,

bring a focus chart with you when you test the lense..so that u can get a sharp copy....

Yeah agree with both above, the 30mm will be a much better choice, should be more expensive is it?
