IMHO, it is quite reasonable for Nikon Malaysia to charge for sensor cleaning of non-warranty cameras. Cleaning cost money and time.

Now is the time for people to learn how to take care of their sensors. Proper lens mounting/dismounting can reduce the dust and particle contamination. Sensor cleaning can be done at home. There are dry and wet methods. Google them up to know how.

actually its very fast & easy to do...

The 1st time my sensor got dust, I sent it back to Jason and watched him do it. After that I've been doing it myself. Less than 5 mins job and very easy. Just be gentle and no rush...
you can buy the sensor cleaning kits online...

Came to think about it.
Already one full year didn't visit Nikon SC.

I'm fine & my camera's fine.

I overheard the other day, the charge is RM80. Can't confirm that though.
