the angle is low and nice and i wonder how it will turn out for a frontal shot with the light behind you

Agree with Ridzuan. Like the low angle. Maybe less of the pond and more of the sky so you wouldn't clip the top part of the monument. Also wonder the same thing about frontal shot

I like this angle and shooting it this way makes it a less shot-to-death image. your conversion is also very solid
