Sunset at Pulau Carey

1000D w/kit lens. EXIF intact. My 1st in SA.

Not bad, nice enough colors and clouds to take a shot, but overall it is way too empty for my taste.

Try to get something in the foreground to emphasize into the vastness of the image.

Or include a silhouette of something/somebody.

If there's nothing around, bring a tripod (good for that kind of low light shooting anyway) and put yourself into the picture!

Plus you have a curve in your horizon, correct that with the distortion filter in photoshop.

agreed, just find some trees of find a couple to 'pretend walking' in the picture, boats? jet skis? or big boulders, it'd really make your sunset speaks more than a thousand words

not bad for a start..
you have the tones of colors in the sky... but kinda boring at the foreground..
perhaps you can play around with the settings and do a long shutter shots..
its gonna be fun~

din know that pulau carey got beach...my project site near at pulau carey...
is it the near klang/banting pulau carey?

Thank you. Just drive till the end of the road. The beach is about 1km stretch only. The sunset is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen in my life.
