Hari Raya Macro

Hi everyone.

How is everyone doing back in Malaysia ?

Here are some shots taken from Chinese Garden, Singapore.

It rained the whole day, and being macro-less for a month was too long, took the umbrella, and set out to the nearest park.

Shot mostly at F13 1/160 considering it was raining and 1 month not holding my macro setup 1/160 shd be more prudent as for now.

1) A spider to start the rainy day

2) Step up the magnification :p

Bigger view http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2100/...f0f380c9_o.jpg

3) EYE MO Moist - gone wrong for the fly

3) A look into an orange flower, i think maybe slightly under

I know the posting size is 800 at the widest, but I converted from RAW to Jpeg in Ifranview , so the size was 17xx , which I uploaded straight to Flickr. Dang.. i need my own laptop.

No PP done, just resize. Dirty dirty sensor :p

Do check out the entire set for today's visit http://www.flickr.com/photos/tang_yiming/sets/72157603507054243/
remember to see the 1700 x XXX resolutions :p

Unfortunately, sharpness decreases as magnification increase

I think you're getting the hang of using the MPE65 now...good sharpness :-)

You can use Flickr's Picnik to resize photo.

As far as I know the MPE-65 is a super macro lense that gives magnification to 5x.
