couldnt see it from here(Ipoh).. sad.. but i saw something which seemed like an aurora tho will upload once i get back home..

Here's mine very ugly but just to share
i do not have any ND+8 so i grab my R72 and hold in front of the lens and coincidence a bird stop by and sit in front of the cable.

Mine shot at Sg Pelek, Selangor at 6:10pm
not prepared for it .. so only had CPL infront
of the 80-200... set 1/8000sec, f/22, ISO100..



and later over the coast at Bagan Lalang... at 6:42pm

ahh.. so lucky u that a bird came to sit right in front of shot but too bad part of the eclipse is block by the building.. miss a very shot there.

Whee. My view from Melaka
Didn't have any ND at hand, so I dismantled an old floppy disk and put the "ND Filter" in front of my lens

Second one corrected the WB from the "Filter"

I got no tele lens, so have to crop crop crop...

*edit* eh i dunno how to attach the images properly lah. I dunno why appear twice leh.

hey i wonder how did you manage to look thru the viewfinder to focus?
I set manual focus... to infinity... & didn't really look through
the viewfinder, just squint my eyes, saw the sun in the middle
and press shutter... 1/8000sec is fast enough to minimize camera shakes..
