SA-Penangkia™ Tak Nak Chimping™ Photowalk (Round 9)
Summarized Details:-
Event Name: SA-Penangkia™ Tak Nak Chimping™ Photowalk (Round 9) Date: 31st October 2009 (Saturday) Time: 8.00am sharp to 09.30am (please be there before 8.00am) Location: Georgetown Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes Theme: URBAN MACRO Where to meet: Chowrasta Wet Market Entrance (facing Police Station), Penang Road Plan B (In case it rains on that day, we shall postpone to the next following Saturday which is 7th November) Rules & Guidelines for Round 9 1. LCD screen must be covered at all time. Use gaffer tape, paper or any materials will not harm your LCD screen. 2. ISO must be fixed at ISO400. 3. Only 24 shots/frames are allowed. No deletion! Filename must be in sequence. (Best is, format your memory card before you start) 4. Only natural lighting is permitted. The use of flash/reflector is not allowed. 5. Only prime lens can be used. Those do not have a prime lens, you have to fix the focal length of your lens! For example, if you start with 18mm, you will use 18mm through out the photowalk. 6. The use of special effect filters or glasses is not allowed. Only UV filter is permitted. 7. The use of tripod/monopod is allowed. 8. Duration of the challenge is 1 hour and 30 minutes. 9. At the end of the challenge, each participant will submit one photo (JPEG) for voting purposes by Shutter Asia's members which will be held for one week. So, shoot in Jpeg+Raw or only Jpeg. 10. Do not make too much noise/jokes when you are shooting, please do respect to the people around. 11. SMILE to the people around...   Ya! 12. Walk in a group will be more appropriate if you are not familiar with the area. 13. *For this round, at the end of the session, all participants will need to submit their memory card to the judges to select ONE(1) photo which suits the theme. The participants will then vote for Top 5 photos to be published on Shutter Asia forum for poll voting. (5 days) 14. From this round onwards, there will be only ONE(1) Winner for Tak Nak Chimping™ Photowalk. Don't expect expensive tokens to be given, as this is all about your passions toward Photography and also improving yourself. *Any changes to the rules can be made without prior notice... Guys and girls, there is some slight changes on this round Tak Nak Chimping™ Photowalk.
From this round onwards, there will be only ONE(1) winner for the photowalk. Also, you might want to read the rule 13. 13. *For this round, at the end of the session, all participants will need to submit their memory card to the judges to select ONE(1) photo which suits the theme. The participants will then vote for Top 5 photos to be published on Shutter Asia forum for poll voting. (5 days) Also, this round, we will make it 30 minutes earlier than the planned time. It will starts sharp at 8am to 9.30am. Please take note on this. In case of raining, we shall delay it to the following Saturday! Thanks!
