Volcano Vacation - East Java

Chronicling my recent 6d5n trip to East Java Volcano Areas. A damp start but a sunny finish! Some very tiring parts but fully completely enjoyable in the end, thanks to improving weather, managing to accomplish the physical portions and the great company.

I thought my previous trip to Indo had an early average wake up time of 4.30am. Except for the last day, this trip had an almost an average wake up time of 3am everyday. Ahaha.

A few (just a few) pictures pictures may be 'inspired', for the experimental fun of it. .

More pics in the coming days and weeks.

1. First Waterfall

2. First Encounter

3. The Sun Blocker

4. Crimson Candy

5. Uncovering

6. Majik Minute

7. Green Misty Hills

8. Injection

LOL..i hated the pony ride..so uncomfortable...I'd rather walk! Luckily it wasn't a long ride

How did you arrange your land transportation? We hired a driver and his MPV but not cheap though. Can't remember how much already.

We walked halfway and rode horse halfway (upwards only). Pony or Horse? I found it rather.....unstable. aahhaa. Guy kept telling me to 'calm down brother' as initially I was swaying from side to side (I blame my bag and the incorrect position of my legs).

Arranged most of transport (including most transport on 4WD) from main transport company based in Surabaya. Got a good driver (which is important).

Yup AA, luckily no big delays.
