Prefer eye level, 1st photo can be closer.
Prefer main light from side(you did it) or back, but, kindly put a reflector to fill some light to the parts under shadow.

Great recipe - I don't know why people spend so much time cooking these days - you can really spice this soup however you like - I added tumeric

All posts are nice and this recipe is fabulous. Thanks romanmark for your recipe dear. Potatoes and tomatoes are my favorite vegetables. I will try this recipe soon.

I love potatoes, unfortunately there are more and more potatoes from the China in Vietnam markets now. They're cheap but not good for our health.

tomatoes from Japan is quite expensive..really... i bought some before and i can tasted the juice and melting in my mouth. worth it!

This two vegs are used in almost every food!! thats how we get our flavours..gotta love them

Potatoes and Tomatoes both are useful in many food recipes. We can say that both are basic nutrition for every recipe. Nice to read this recipe and thanks for sharing.

for photo #1, you don't need the fork and the spices background in the picture. tilt the camera higher and closer to the food to give more emphasis.
