like i said, i have my digital meter calibrated using salt test and its reading 75% which is the reading we are suppose to get from the test. See Hanuman link
http://www.sciencecompany.com/Unders...eter-W136.aspx i had done that open door test on the cabinet too, still both readings are different. I guess my digital reading should be more accurate. Maybe location of the sensor in the cabinet and the drying TEC is affecting the reading too. that's my guess. by right the sensor should detect the inside cabinet humidity then only active the drying process. Just a layman thoughts, im no techical guy. could it be design fault?? or is the unit really faulty?? Aipo agency also cannot tell me. I guess they just interested in selling only and no technical backup. warranty claim they just exchange the parts without further analysis the actual problem at hand. Just my opinion. I have got 3 x 132L and 1 x 68L AIPO digital boxes, all has it is individual idependent digital meters for redundancies, and all reading are similar to the boxes digital reading most of the time, with a 1% to 2% positive flactuation for the digital meter. It is better to have an alternate similar brand digital meter to confirm all are consistent for measurement, else too much the variation, ask AIPO agent to change it for you.
